Ever wonder about the decisions that shape news coverage? Enter News Goggles, a new feature in The Sift® newsletter that's designed to help your students think like journalists while reading news reports. What if they could put on a pair of “news goggles” to see coverage through journalists’ eyes?

In this session, learn how you can use News Goggles and an array of classroom-ready resources to guide students through various kinds of news coverage as they consider concepts like fairness, sourcing, transparency and watchdog journalism in action. Join Hannah Covington, a former reporter who is now part of NLP’s education team, for a News Goggles demo and discussion for classroom integration.

NOTE: The next session will use the same link as this one.
